Panel: Smug Sunday: The Big Sober Social

Panel: Smug Sunday: The Big Sober Social

Sunday 8th March
The Vaults
2:45pm

A session on how to party like a healthy hedonist hosted by Emily Syphas, founder of Sober & Social. Discussing how to prepare for a sober night out, what to say when people ask why you’re not drinking and how to party sober.

Our panellists have a range of experience on the sober social scene and years of sobriety under their belts to advise and ready to answer any questions you may have on this exciting topic! Rachel Davies has been sober for 1 year and 6 months, she loves her house music and goes to monthly raves, Barry O Toole who has been sober for 18 months never thought he would be able go out and have fun without alcohol when he first stopped drinking but now regularly enjoys raves, bar crawls and going to parties, Joanne Bradford and founder of emotional healing and life consultancy Motherheart has been sober for over 7 years so has plenty of experience of the big social occasions some of us may struggle with and finally we have DJ Ana Her who is a London born DJ, producer, and hosts weekly on Select Radio, the UK’s number 1 dance music station. Our host Emily Syphas set up Sober & Social to help others feel more confident and comfortable socialising through sober events so has plenty experience herself on sober partying and becoming a healthy hedonist.
